I want to exchange my brand new Argos Digtial Photo Frame as my memory card doesn't work in it?
I received a digital photo frame for my birthday, item 570/1957. The frame is not compatible with my xd memory card so i went instore to exchange only to be told that it was non-returnable. The frame is unused and unopened and i am willing to pay the extra for the upgrade.
After numerous calls to the store, they said it clearly says in the catalogue that the item is non-returnable. I have checked the customer service section of the catalogue on page 1771 and it clearly says: "If a product is excluded from our 30 day money back guarantee it is clearly marked in the catalogue with an*"
I then checked item 570/1957 on page 504 of the catalogue and could not find such marking to suggest it was non returnable. In fact, none of the digital photo frames have this non-returnable marking. Any ideas?
As a retail manager I really shouldn't tell you this. Put something small and sharp (like a bent out paper clip) and jab it around in the card reader. This should break it. Then take the frame back to a different Argos where they don't know you, telling them it's faulty and you have lost faith in it. They should let you upgrade to a better model with no probs.
