Q. How do I use my mei tai properly?
A. Please refer to the wearing instruction section of the site.

Q. How do I know what size I need?
A. Mei tais are one size. You can request extra long straps on the mei tai or half waist buckle for $8, but I find the 68in shoulder straps are long enough for a large man.
Buckle Tais come in three sizes-S,M & L.
Small- 15in long shoulder straps with 15in of webbing. 24in twill waist with 18in of padding in the waist & 12in of webbing for a Maximum size of 36 inches.
Medium- 18in long shoulder straps with 24in of webbing. 26in twill waist with 20in of padding & 24in of webbing for a maximum size of 50 inches.
Large- 21in long shoulder straps with 30in of webbing. 34in twill waist with 30in of padding & 30in of webbing for a maximum size of 64 inches.
The most common size is Medium.

Q. Can my husband/partner use the same one?
A. The mei tai is pretty much 'one size fits all'.

Q. Can I breast feed in it?
A. You can breast feed in all of the carriers.

Q. What size/weight can it be used up to?
A. Most carriers can be used up to 35lbs.

Q. How do I wash my carrier?
A. You can wash your mei tai or buckle tai in cold water on a delicate cycle, then line dry. Or handwash. Place in a pillow case to wash to keep straps from getting tangled in the washing machine.

Q. How do I inspect my carrier?
A. Please refer to the Instructions page for full details.

Q. What type of fabric do you use for your mei tais?
A. I use high quality designer fabrics for the print side and I use 100% cotton twill for the straps and reverse side. On occasion I do make mei tais out of different fabrics and that will be noted on the website.

Q. How sturdy is the mei tai?
A. The waist strap is one continuous strap to provide maximum support and safety when carrying a baby or toddler. All seams along the straps are triple stitched for you and your child's safety.

Q. What is webbing?
A. Webbing is the black polyester strap that goes through the buckles so you can adjust the buckles.

Q. How do you pronounce mei tai?
A. May tie.

Q. What is your return policy?
A. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please let me know and I will work with you to make sure you are happy.
