what do i have to do to become a nude model?
How do i become a nude model for art students?
I've been thinking about the possibility of becoming a nude model for an art class. I have heard that it is an excellent confidence builder. But yet I search all across the web, and I could not find anything relating to such. any google search for "nude modeling" or "life drawing" does not return anything but fruit pictures and porn sites. If anyone is willing to help me find out more about this (preferably in a passive, website/brochure way at first) It would be greatly appreciated.
Check with the art department of local colleges or universities. Ask to speak to the figure drawing or life drawing model coordinator.
A good online resource is Craigslist. Look for ads from schools or figure drawing open studios / workshops. My new gigs are split between referrals and craigslist.
I can't agree with the confidence builder part though. You have to have confidence going into it. If You Can't stand there with a circle of people of both genders intently studying your body, then you don't have the confidence needed.
