Can you combine built in wireless b & usb N for faster throughput?

I have windows 7on an older laptop with built in wireless B version but have a wireless N router. If I get a wireless N usb adapter for the laptop can I somehow combine the two for faster transfer or should I just disable the older built in wireless b? I'm trying this to stream video media faster and learning a bit more about wireless eqp as I go on. Thanks in advance.

They are not additive and use different frequencies. No you will not get anymore "speed" than what the N adapter and/or router are capable of. (just get the new "dongle" or adapter and shut off the built in wireless of the computer)
