how can i register a non operating car in California that i just received from a co-worker ?
i just received a 2000 Jeep Wrangler from a co-worker for free this weekend & i live in California. I have the Bill of Sell & Tittle in hand.
my question is how do i go about registering the jeep as a non operating car ?
before i was able to take the care from my co-worker the jeep was working fine then there was a engine issuse & the coast to repair the jeep was to much for the co-worker so i was able to take it off of the co-workers hand. so is there away to not smog the jeep & still be able to register the jeep as a non op ?
i live in wisconsin and we dont have non op status for vehicles, here You Can pretty much drive move or register anything with wheels, so i cant help you there. I am just amazed that you got a jeep for FREE in any condition that is awesome! Good luck I hope you get it figured out.
