I've recently purchased a Manuscript fountain pen and it is different from what I'm used to.?
The package consists of the pen itself and one ink cartridge.
Inside the pen is a cartridge like tube, only instead of ink, there is a plunger inside that You Can pull but not out of the tube.
However I'm having difficulty actually setting the ink in place.
The instructions only say to place the ink cartridge in the barrel and screw the nib section onto the barrel. Press the converter into the nib section and immerse the whole nib in ink. Pull plunger out slowly, replace barrel.
Do I really just force the converter to break the cartridge's seal? I'm worried about breaking it or damaging it, so any help is appreciated!
